Eureka! That's him in the little red ellipse!
I have received a copy of this photograph from The Masked Filcher. It's the photo Time Magazine broke, and Time and White House Verbiage Disseminator Scott McClellan both say that' s lobbyist Jack Abramoff inside the little red ellipse.
The former Native-American tribal chairman chatting with the President, Raul Garza, gave the photos to Time.
I imagine this image is exhausted from being copied and passed around over the last 48 hours. It's a rather dull sort of photo. I like my scandals a little more visually entertaining, but if this is the best American political reality can do this month, Agence-Vleeptron Presse will have to settle for it.
These are bleak times. Whatever happened to scandals with flowing champagne and lingerie and Floradora Girls swinging on the red velvet swing? Your mom could see you in a photo like this and yawn.

The Bush-Cheney White House is one enormous, lying, deceptive, secretive scandal. Young men and women have died needlessly. The American people get lied to on a daily basis. Bush and Cheney, and the rest of their bootlicker cadre thumb their noses at the American People, the Voters whom they supposedly serve.
It is scandal enough that they have forgotten this.
It is scandal enough that they lie daily, and put their rabid lying lapdog Scottie McLellan out to lie to the press each day.
It is scandal enough that the press does not remember that as the Fourth Estate, they are required to seek Truth, even from lying, dishonest, self-aggrandizing, arrogant leaders who do not remember that they are elected to serve ALL the people.
It is scandal enough that the Vice President of the United States was involved in a gun accident, and worked to cover it up, and four days later has made no public statement, no apology, no simple expression of acknowledgement of a mistake.
It is scandal enough that the police or sherriff of the County in which the Vice President's gun accident occurred were turned away by the Secret Service.
It is scandal enough that while oil companies make record profits, the people in New Orleans that worked in the refineries are still homeless, living in a ruined city.
I, for one, am tired of scandal. I want congressional oversite. I want the House, the Senate and the Press to finally grow a set of cojohnes and ask the tough questions.
Why did the President lie about WMD's?
Why did we attack Iraq, when there is NO evidence that Iraq was involved in the attacks?
Why are there daily scandals involving republican lobbyists, republican governmental officials?
Where is the sense of honour, dignity and service that elected office should carry?
Where is America?
Is that enough Scandal for you?
Bob, please excuse the snark. You know, of course, that it's really not directed at you. I'm just damn tired of the asshats in Washington.
